terms of service

effective 16 july 2026

the service

Brotherhood is a private app for small crews of real friends: a daily window to chat, share photos, videos and voice notes, and call each other. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old. You're responsible for your account and for keeping access to your email address, which is how you sign in.

your content

What you share belongs to you. You give us only the limited licence we need to operate the service: to transmit, briefly store (at most 3 days on our servers), and deliver your content to the crew you sent it to. Nothing you share is public, used for advertising, or shown to anyone outside your crew.

house rules

Crews are private, but they are not lawless. You agree not to use Brotherhood to:

Invite codes control who joins your crew — share them only with people you trust. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. To report a problem or a person, email brotherhood.support.app@gmail.com and we will respond promptly.

leaving

You can leave a crew, or delete your account entirely, at any time in the app (profile → delete account). Deletion is immediate and permanent.

the honest disclaimers

Brotherhood is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It is not a substitute for emergency services, and we can't promise uninterrupted service or that content on your crewmates' devices can ever be recalled. To the maximum extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us to use Brotherhood (currently: nothing).

changes

If these terms change materially, we'll say so in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Brotherhood after that means you accept the new terms.

governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
